The KSET 2023 exam is a mandatory qualification for the candidates who want to apply for the posts of Assistant Professor and Lecturer in Karnataka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The KEA has released the notification for the KEA KSET 2023 exam on September 5, 2023. The notification contains all the important details and instructions regarding the exam, such as exam date, application date, fee, eligibility, reservation, exam pattern, syllabus, admit card, result, and other guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The candidates who are interested and eligible for the KSET 2023 exam can apply online through the KEA website from September 10, 2023 to September 30, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The KEA KSET 2023 exam will be held on November 26, 2023 in various exam centers in Karnataka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">KEA KSET 2023: Exam Pattern and Syllabus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>The KEA KSET 2023 exam consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Both papers are objective type and have multiple choice questions (MCQs). The exam will be conducted in offline mode using OMR sheets. The candidates have to mark their answers using a black ballpoint pen only.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paper I is common for all candidates and has 50 questions. Each question carries 2 marks, making the total marks of Paper I 100.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The duration of Paper I is one hour. Paper I tests the candidates&#8217; general awareness, teaching and research aptitude, and reasoning skills. The questions are based on the following topics: Topic Number of Questions Teaching Aptitude 10 Research Aptitude 10 Comprehension 5 Communication 5 Mathematical Reasoning and Aptitude 5 Logical Reasoning 5 Data Interpretation 5 Information and Communication Technology (ICT) 5<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paper II is subject-specific and has 100 questions. Each question carries 2 marks, making the total marks of Paper II 200. The duration of Paper II is two hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paper II tests the candidates&#8217; knowledge and understanding of their chosen subject. The questions are based on the syllabus prescribed by the UGC for each subject.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The KEA KSET 2023 syllabus covers 39 subjects, which are available in both Kannada and English languages on the KEA website or  click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.searchnsucceed.in\/kset-exam-posponed-2021-syllabus-online-apply-kset-exam-dates\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.searchnsucceed.in\/kset-exam-posponed-2021-syllabus-online-apply-kset-exam-dates\/\">here<\/a>. The candidates have to choose one subject from the following list: Subject Code Subject Name 01 Commerce 02 Kannada 03 Economics &#8230; &#8230;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The candidates have to answer both papers in the same language as their chosen subject, except for subjects like English, Hindi, Urdu, etc., which have to be answered in their respective languages only.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is no negative marking for wrong answers in both papers. You will recieve Application number. Now go back to KEA KSET 2023 Online Application Home Page and click on \u201cUpload Your Photo,Signature\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A new page will open where you have to authenticate with your Application ID and Date of Birth to continue to upload the photo and signature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upload your scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format and size. The photograph should be in JPG\/JPEG format and should not exceed 50 KB in size. The signature should be in JPG\/JPEG format and should not exceed 30 KB in size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 5: Once the photo, signature uploaded then go back to Online Application Home Page again. Now click on \u201cGenerate the Postal Challan\u201d. Where you have to authenticate again with your Application ID and Date of Birth and click \u201cSubmit&#8221;. You&#8217;ll receive the Challan. Save the Challan in PDF format or you can directly Print the challan which is generated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pay the application fee through offline mode only using postal challan. The application fee is Rs.1000 for General, Cat-IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, and candidates from other states, while it is Rs.700 for Cat-I, SC, ST, PWD, and Transgender candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 9:<\/strong> After successful payment, it may take a day or two depending on server. Once it&#8217;s successful then go to Online Application Home Page again where you will see \u201cPrint Application\u201d. Once again authenticate with your Application ID and Date of Birth. And click Submit then you will see the preview and print your application form. You can also download in PDF format for future reference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take a printout of your application form and keep it safely. You do not need to send them to KEA by post or courier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You have successfully completed the online application process for KEA KSET 2023 exam. You can check your application status and download your admit card from the official website of KEA when they are available.
